Medellín women are often described as the most appearance-conscious — they take pride in how they look and expect you to notice. Bogotá women tend to be more educated, more professional, slightly cooler in manner. Caleñas have a reputation for being the most warm and the best dancers. All true in my limited experience.

Don’t generalize too hard — I’ve met serious, educated women in Medellín and party girls in Bogotá. The city shapes the dating pool but doesn’t determine it. Your own social circles matter more than geography.
